簡介

生於美國麻州康橋，2歲時父母離婚，由做大學教師的母親帶大。自小喜愛電影，並考上表演專科。17歲時涉足影壇，在《現代灰姑娘》中扮演小角色。1997年因主演《心靈捕手》而成為好萊塢新貴偶像，並與搭檔班艾佛列克共獲奧斯卡最佳原著劇本獎。2002年更憑著【神鬼認證】中失憶的殺手傑森包恩一角成為動作片英雄代表。
