　　畫家榮秀從別人那兒聽說，女友民貞背著他與別的男人見面喝酒。他生氣質問，民貞卻矢口否認，一陣爭執下，民貞便生氣地離開了。榮秀從隔天開始與民貞失聯，他著急地在民貞的住所附近，尋找任何可能和她相似的女性，也詢問了幾位男性友人。

　　有人在酒館發現了民貞，但她卻說自己是民貞的孿生姊妹。貌似民貞的神祕女子不斷出現，與不同的男子相識，傳聞越演越烈，深愛民貞的榮秀也越來越失落，鎮日消頹。到底民貞在哪？她真的背著他與其他男子往來嗎？愛情中的對錯信任，總是難以言喻。
