　　戈梅拉島上的森林發現一具年輕男子的屍體。當地雖有一名嫌疑犯遭到起訴，但最終仍然獲判無罪。案子也就簽署結案…3年後，調查局檢察官-貝維拉卡和他的助手查莫洛被派去加那利群島重啟調查工作。另一名曾在被害人生前見過最後一面的西班牙警隊下士-安格拉達，也一同協助他們調查釐清案情。
　　主要嫌犯為當地一名知名的政客。調查小組挑戰政治與破案的壓力，他們與時間賽跑還原命案現場找尋破案關鍵線索！這是一場鬥智的對立賽。然而島上終日煙霧瀰漫，調查工作也在一片迷茫中即將撥雲見日…難以料想的是，當謎霧散開，眾人才發現島上居民背後深藏許久的驚悚秘密…
