  • 　　英國演員、導演和作家，出生在英國密德薩斯，母親是一名英國人，教授生理有障礙的孩子，父親是一名在伊拉克出生的美國人，是一名婦科醫生。安迪席克斯在伊靈上學，此後在蘭卡斯特大學攻讀視覺藝術。學生時期曾參加學生廣播電台的工作。

    　　他最著名的角色是在【魔戒三部曲】中運用動作擷取系統扮演咕嚕，因此獲得多獎項提名。另外，他也在【猩球崛起】系列電影中扮演猩猩凱撒，在【金剛】中扮演金剛，在【丁丁歷險記】中扮演哈達克船長。他在英國電視劇「朗福鎮」中扮演伊恩布雷迪使他獲得金球獎提名。

    　　2017年執導首部電影【我為你呼吸】，2018年又執導了【毛克利】。

簡介

歐德曼生長在藍領家庭，曾經被學校退學，而後進入演藝學校就讀。1981年他開始參加電影劇及舞臺劇表演，並於1986年獲頒最佳演員及新人獎。隔年在電影處女作【席德與南茜】中飾演嗑藥的搖滾龐克青年，又奪一座最佳新人獎，而他也是少數能夠表現美式腔調的英國演員。拍完【吸血鬼】後，蓋瑞並擔任坎城影展評審，在影壇地位已受肯定。曾經與女星烏瑪舒曼有短暫的婚姻關係。2001年他演出了【人魔】，也接演了賣座大片諸如【哈利波特】與【黑暗騎士】系列電影等，戲路亦正亦邪，常是各大電影中不可或缺的角色。
